La guardia italo-americana ha già superato l’esame-maturità dell’A1. Dopo le due annate di rodaggio con Ribera, il quarto cecchino della stagione 2008-2009, ha trovato la gloria con il tricolore del Cras, al quale lei ha contribuito con la media-punti di 7,3. Il difetto è che non difende moltissimo, ma in attacco è capace di risolvere i match con le sue triple. Ricchini la impiega spesso, lei risponde discretamente. Può sicuramente arrivare più in alto se si migliora in ogni fondamento del basket. Ha dalla sua parte l’età, il fisico ed il talento. E’ alla seconda A1 con Taranto.
Curiosità: come i calciatori Kakà e Legrottaglie, anche Jami fa parte del movimento dei cristiani dello sport denominato Atleti di cristo. Nello sport Montagnino considera la sua fede come una delle armi per impormi con la mia personalità, rispettare l'avversario e dare il meglio di me stessa. Dal 14 agosto 2010 si è unita in matrimonio con l’americano  Morgan Johnson.

The Italian-American guard has already passed the examination of the A1-maturity. After two years in Ribera, the fourth sniper of the 2008-2009 season, found glory with the flag of Cras, to which she contributed with a 7.3-points average. She doesn't defend a lot, but her offensive game is able to solve the match with her long range shots. She can certainly get higher if she improves in any fundamental technique of basketball. Her talent, the young age, her athleticism and  her  physical presence represent her strength . This is her second season in Taranto. 

Along with players such as Kaka and Legrottaglie, Jami  belongs to  the Christian sport movement called "Athletes of Christ": Montagnino considers her faith as a "weapon" useful to give the best of herself and  to respect the opponents.

14.08.2010 she got married with Morgan Johnson.
